Shifty Thoughts

Recently an elected official went in front of Congress and explained to his elected colleagues that they needed to make this “right decision” because the voting public was not smart enough and/or could be easily tricked into making the “wrong decision” during an election. I’ll slow this down a sec just in case any of the voters that he was talking about are reading.

Someone that was elected was telling other people that were elected that the voting public is not smart enough to make the right decision at the ballot box (where you cast your vote to elect people).

Now, I’m not picking sides because this whole thing is just too ridiculous to take seriously, and too entertaining for me to publish my opinion which could have the effect of changing or speeding up the outcome, but I’m pretty sure in this case, you can look at the source of the comment (not necessarily the target) and agree.

Thanks for stopping by.
